Well It's July 30 we're back from Mi starting on the adventure for the new school year.
Amelia will be home with me this year hopefully things go well. I know my MIL is trying to help but I feel like she wants to take over. Not intentionally but still. She keeps saying things like well when I go over things with Amelia and I sit down and work with her I will be able to figure out where she is at and what I need to do to help her.
I know she is not tiring to take over but saying we instead of I would be better.
The new baby is getting bigger. have a dr apt today and we will be able to find out what baby is.
Hopefully I can find a way to calm Maria and Dominic down before school starts in a couple of weeks.

Well I'm back again. It seems like I do this for a bit than get busy and forget about it.
We are down to our last 9 days of school for the year. Allot has happened.
We pulled Amelia and are working with her at home due to reading issues. She is attending a place called Brain Balance where she is working on many different skills. She loves it but it is taking a toll on Me. I am driving to south Austin three days a week. But it seems to be helping her, so it is worth it.
We have also changed out diet and have taken out a Highfrutose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavor, and all additives it seems to be helping some the kids are still wild I'm a little afraid that we might have to go gluten free and see if that helps.
We have also found out that we are expecting our 8th child. Were getting used to the idea but is has been hard since we planned all the rest of them, This on was a bit of a surprise.
I have to keep telling my self that God has a reason and amazing plans for this little person. I'm just praying that God grants me the patience to thrive through this pregnancy and that baby waits till at least 37 weeks before arriving. But I know that even if she/he doesn't that God will protect us both.
Also I'm going to try teaching myself not to yell so much. I feel like all I do is yell most days and I am really getting tired of it. The kids are getting amiune to it and don't even bother to listen any more. I have to find some way to get through to them so they will do what I need them to do with out me having to yell and fuss at them all the time.
God Grant me patience to be able to handle all that you have blessed me with.

Today was a day for cheering and frustration.
Colleen slept all night last night and played by her self for an hour this morning so that I could get the school work done with the big kids.
Nathaniel has been frustrating as of late. He has developed a really bad habbit of waiting till the last minute to do his chores so that he doesn't have to do them and I end up doing them for him just to get them done and the house cleaned up.
Dominic is doing good in school but still struggles with not talking over his teacher.

Well we are into our 5 week of school. The kids are all doing well. Maria has tutoring every day so I do extra driving but it seems tobe helping. Amelia got all A's on her progress report as did the older boys.
Dominic tried to play spider man on the school building this week. Jeff told him he was only allowed to do that at home. Not sure I like that idea either.
David is already asking to go to school next year. We will probably do PreK if he ever decides to use the potty.
Colleen has decided that she hates baby food ( big surprise.) None of the big kids liked it either. So it has been a long few days of nonstop nursing.
I have to keep reminding myself to stop and enjoy this time because it won't be here much longer.
God please grant me the grace to get through today with love and contentment.
Rach.

Well it's been 2 years since I've done anything with my blog. Life has kept moving forward. I've decided to come back and make writing part of my day to thank God for all that I have been blessed with.
Two years has gone fast and we have added a new member to our family. Colleen Elizabeth joined our Family February 6th of this year She is one of the joys of my day. Again being a premie and staying 14 days in the ICU having her home has been amazing.
The 5 older kids are back in school. 4 are at Chaperall Star Academy and Dominic is at Highland Park
North for Kinder and loves it.

Summer is ending

Well it is almost the end of August the kids are back in school. I only have two at home, it feels more busy now then it did when I had all of them at home. With two trips to school everyday an extra trip to another school on Thursdays to pick up an extra little man my weeks are going to be a little carzy.. Although I've gotten to the Gym twice this week and am quite sore it is all worth it when I pick up the kids and Maria tells me School was AWESOME. and two days later I have homework I have homework and just giggles.

Blueberrychicken pie
So I made Chicken Pot Pie for dinner last night. (which came out wonderfully) .
As I was serving Dominic started asking of Blueberry pie. The last time he saw a pie was at Nana's house and it was Blueberry. So he was insisting that it was blueberry pie. When I told him no it's Chicken pie he amended his request to May I have some Blueberry Chicken pie.
I'm not sure how that would taste..... (Might try it just as an experiment.)
I love the thoughts from my three year old.

Baby Anniversary

As I sit here and look at my beautiful little boy today I remember the joy and excitement of being able to bring him home for the first time after spending 12 days in the NICU. It was a day filled with Gods blessings and promise. It is hard to believe that it has been a year already. Those twelve days seem so far away now but were the most difficult I've been through in a long time.
I need to say thank you to all of our friends and family who assisted us at that time we could not have gotten through it without all of you.
Thank you and God Bless all of you.

Pud Muddles
My Favorite quote of the whole trip.
I was sitting on the back patio with my parents and Dominic one evening and Dominic started playing pretend with my Dad.
He started jumping and telling Papa that he was splashing him. So my Dad played along and pretended to get all wet.
Nana asked him what he was jumping in and he said he was getting Papa all wet in the Pud Muddles. He then Sang Pud Muddles Pud Muddles Pud Muddles I jump in the Pud Muddles for the next 10 min. We couldn't stop laughing.
That night it rained so the next day he got to jump in the real Pud Muddles. He came in the house soaked but very very excited and Stated I Jump in the Pud Muddles.

Mi Trip
We just returned from our annual trip to Michigan which was wonderful.
It was wonderful to see my parents interact with the kids.
My Dad had his own little shadow the whole month, Dominic loved to follow him around
and ride the tractor, using/playing with the tools.
